Wether you’re a couple of Wild West enthusiasts,an amateur photographer or a school bus trip looking for an adventure…Then we have the tour for you.Our leading tour specialists will bring you out in either a small van,SUV,safari truck or a school bus to our Wild Mustang Herd Management area.But remember,even though we say”Herd Management area”these horses are still Wild.The McCullough Peaks mustangs have over 123,000 acres of Wyoming terrain to roam freely on.On our quests to find the wild horses you’ll have many beautiful photography opportunities.You'll be traveling through cool desert terrain to “The Wyoming Badlands” searching for many species of wildlife that call this area home as well.From Coyotes,sage grouse,mule deer,horny toads,red tail hawks and pronghorn antelope!

We had a great tour with Phoebe. We were really lucky as it ended up being only our family of 4. We all enjoyed the tour, including our teens (difficult age to please) and would highly recommend it. The tour lasts about 2h30. We saw pronghorns antelopes and a pack of mustangs from a respectful distance. We learnt their names (loved the foal Bon Jovi). We enjoyed walking out to see them and felt safe throughout with Phoebe (this is also rattlesnakes territory but thankfully we didn’t spot any). We also learnt a lot about local legends and the surrounding mountains. My tip: wear long trousers and high boots as the prickly pears are best avoided.

Owner tried to get u to change from 5pm to 8am. Then when I told him that time was not realistic. We would have needed to leave our current hotel at 3:30am, I offered to cancel. He said he’d call me by noon the next day if he needed to cancel. No call. We were the only two on the tour. Got there early and met owner, not very friendly. Guide was nice enough, but had no idea what he was doing. When we finally found two old stallions, he was as excited as we were. Would not recommend.

I’m sorry you had a bad experience.Typically we never bring just 2 people out because we lose money on it.If you book through viator they take half of the commission so whatever you paid we get half of that.So he was actually trying to do a nice thing for you guys because with guides getting paid 20$ an hour and then fuel we lose a lot of money.So he was probably just busy and frustrated because he tried to move you to a different time so that you would have gotten a better experience but it sounds like since you couldn’t change then he rounded up a new guide to bring you out.We have a minimum capacity when people book through viator due to their high commission rates so we should have never have brought you out in the first place.So I’m sorry that you had a bad experience but we should have canceled you to begin with but if we do that then viator can pull our products off because of cancellations.So now with you putting a bad review that will happen anyway.I guess you’re danged if you do and danged if you don’t.But they were trying to make you happy by just bringing two people out because for the 60$ that we get off of your tour it’s not worth it.Now we lose money and get a bad review.So thank you very much.This is why small businesses go bankrupt.And there is never guarantee to see wildlife so you actually did get to see a couple of the horses.They are not in pens.

Seeing about 8 bands of mustangs! Deanna was an awesome guide, friendly and knowledgeable. She was very considerate of my husband, who walks slower and needs help in and out of van.
