It really was a terrific time and you can hardly beat the scenery. I was traveling solo but our guide (Daniel) made sure every one of us (there were 12 of us on the transit van) became fast friends. He wasn’t overbearing and was courteous and respectful and gave us a wonderful taste of what the road to Hāna is all about….

When planning to travel to Maui we could hardly wait to do the trip to Hana. It proved to be everything and more. Our tour guide and driver "Joe" was awesome. We learnt so much about Maui and Hana. Great job folks!

Good tour. Apa was very friendly and a safe driver. After experiencing the road, there is no way I would want to drive it myself. Not that it’s unsafe but simply because the driver wouldn’t get the chance to see the scenery. You’d be concentrating on the road the whole time. Appreciated the multiple stops for pictures and rest room breaks. Unexpected stop for sea turtles was a highlight as there were dozens on the beach at the same time. Lunch was wonderful and drinks provided on the van. The only downside is that the van has a 2/1 seating configuration so if your the last pickup (as we were), you will not be able to sit next to your spouse/partner.
