Had a great all day road to hana tour with valley isle! Joe was my guide. He was very knowledgeable about all of the plants we saw along the journey. He knew the best places to stop off for pictures, and he shared stories about growing up in Hawaii. I was very comfortable on the bus. I do recommend doing a tour so you can actually enjoy the views and not stress about the drive. Valley isle does an excellent job!

We came back to Maui for our 40th wedding anniversary of being married on the island..we are older now so we wanted to relax and have someone else drive so we could take in the scenery. Paula our guide was wonderful...very knowledgeable and the pace was perfect. We especially enjoyed the painted eucalyptus trees, the beautiful waterfalls and especially the black sand beach with lava cave. Our guide was on time to pick us up and the stops for a light breakfast and lunch seemed perfectly timed. I would highly recommend this tour to those who would like to experience this beautiful place but don't want to drive as it is a challenge on your own and you just miss so much.

What a memorable, beautiful trip! Randy was an amazing naturalist, historian and expert on all things Maui. Crazy weather enabled Randy to skillfully avoid downed trees and all sort of plant life in the road. No Indy driver could do better. The weather did not affect our enjoyment of the trip. Fun stops, good food, loads of information. Plus we had a trainee, Chong, who schooled us in more history, the mongoose and culture. The van was clean (when we started) and all employees were gracious. JoJo picked us up at our hotel. He shared his experiences growing up on the island. Truly a remarkable trip to and from Hana! I highly recommend!
