Our family had a wonderful day touring the road to Hana with Travis. It was much more enjoyable being able to see the breathtaking views without having to drive ourselves. And with Travis our experienced driver, even those of us in are family who tend to get easily motion sick felt fine on this drive. We learned much about Hawaiian history and traditions, walked the fabulous black sand beach, swam in a refreshing pond under a waterfall, and even saw incredible Hawaiian sea turtles sunning on the beach!

We wanted to avoid driving the road so we could fully appreciate it, and it was absolutely the right choice. The views are stunning, and we enjoyed stopping in the little towns along the way and then in Hana itself. Our guide, Travis, was entertaining, informative,and helpful. We got great inisght into the real Hawaii both past and present. It is a long day but the stops for beaches and food helped break up the drive. And the last half hour or so, once we passed Paia and the formal end of the road, Travis gave us a break and let us enjoy the silence. The mini bus was comfortable and the tour group just the right size. We could splash in the waterfall and beaches or just relax, whatever we chose. And the last stop for shave ice hit the spot. This tour comes highly recommended.
