Highlights of the tour include a long stop at Waianapanapa State Park with itʻs famous Black Sand Beach, Pua'a Ka'a for a waterfall swim, weather and safety permitting, and a delicious picnic lunch at a classic Hana flower farm. First off we are so so happy that we decided NOT to drive the RTH ourselves. It most certainly would of ended in an argument between my husband and I. Parking at times was stressful and it was nice to not have to worry about this issue being on a tour bus. Our driver was very prepared and knowledgeable. We learned more than we ever would of on our own. Lunch... so good!! I would say it was one of the best meals we had during our visit. Scenery is gorgeous!! Our guide gave us plenty of time to enjoy each stop. If you are debating the swim in the waterfall just bring watershoes to be able to walk a little closer, I had mine and then forgot them on the bus (duh!). Be sure you pack your camera and take lots of pictures!! Our entire family enjoyed this journey.

Beautiful views and trusted guides to lead the way. We enjoyed learning about Hawaii, eating tasty food, and taking in gorgeous sights. It was also nice to avoid the stress of driving a windy, twisty, narrow road all day… we could just sit back and relax.
