Ideal for families, this ghost tour of St. Augustine’s spookiest sites combines light-hearted fun with spine-tingling tales of the city’s past. Alongside a costumed guide, you visit cemeteries, the ground of the Old Fort, and other haunted locations to discover the little-known legends that surround the romantic venue. This small-group tour is limited in order to maintain an atmosphere suitable for the ghost walk.

  • A Ghostly Encounter’s Storm Policy (as follows)
  • 1. A Ghostly Encounter tours operate rain or shine. Florida weather changes rapidly and is unpredictable, and we monitor our weather prior to all tours.
  • 2. If lighting is present in the area: we will delay the start of the tour for 20 minutes to give the storm time to pass, then proceed as normal.
  • 3. If lightening remains present in the area, management may decide to reschedule the tour. Guests will be moved to the following evening’s tours or to the nearest date convenient with the group.
  • 4. If rescheduling is not convenient, each guest will be provided a voucher for a future A Ghostly Encounter tour, subject to availability. For offer to be valid, guest must present the voucher directly to our office staff upon returning to St. Augustine or speak directly with the office staff to reschedule (not through a third-party booking site). Please remember to bring your voucher with you. Lost or forgotten vouchers will not be honored; however, vouchers do not expire.

We were disappointed in the tour. We never went into any of the haunted places. We just walked by them and stayed outside. We didn’t get to explore we just listened to the tour guides stories and after awhile we got bored.

We are a storytelling tour. We do not enter into buildings. This is stated on all of our advertising. As for "exploring", our guides provide guests some time to take pictures and ask questions during the tour.

Tour was really fun, Rob was very interactive and knowledgeable. If you’re touring in the summer months or in the evening than definitely recommend BUG SPRAY or light longer sleeves :)

Rob has been sharing Saint Augustine’s rich history for years, so when he expressed an interest in sharing the town’s more macabre events, we jumped at the chance for him to join our team. And YES…thank you so much for advising the use of bug spray. We get up close and personal with our locations and Saint Augustine’s six legged and eight legged residents often join in the fun.
