I would advise not to book with this company. My wife and I were scheduled for a hot air balloon ride on the morning of Aug 8th. We booked at least 2 months in advance through our credit card company. We got up at 2 am to drive to the pick-up site. We get there at 4:30 am and was never picked up. We had never been informed that the trip was cancelled. I have noted that this has happened to other people with this same company. The company claimed it was not their fault and gave Viator information and that appeared on their app, which did not happen with us. We did not get an e-mail, a text or a phone call from anyone letting us know that it had been cancelled. Later on, that day we called our credit card company and they said that it had been cancelled 24 hours before we were to go. We also talked to trip TripAdvisor who my understanding the credit card company uses, they were unaware that the trip had been cancelled. 9 hours after our pick-up time Viator e-mailed us stating the trip had been cancelled. To start with I would not be writing this review if we had been informed. Also, if we had been informed and we had not seen it that would be our fault I would not be writing this. Someone dropped the ball on this, between the Credit Card company, TripAdvisor, Viator, or Aerogenic Ballooning. My wife and I basically lost a whole day and some good sleep and about an hour of gas. This is not a very good way run a business. I still question the company cancelling 24 hours a head of time when that morning the weather was perfect.

Oh good! So wreck the reputation of Aerogelic Ballooning because you had a bad experience with Viator/TripAdvisor… thanks! Even though you say right here that we sent you cancel notice the day before on TripAdvisors message board. FYI aerogelic is NEVER offered their customers contact information. We are required to contact through the message board. Therefore, I’m assuming you never checked the message board, and never read the TripAdvisor rules. But, take it out on the supplier whom doesn’t even have money in the game until your flown….

Was unable go up in the air due to weather conditions but the company was very accommodating and fast processing my refund.

This was definitely a memorable experience. Our pilot wasn’t the friendliest but this is a bucket list item that I was able to check off my list.

Sorry your experience wasn’t good. We understand you appreciated the pilot taking his own time to prepare and offer frozen towels to you and your guests. We don’t see how that’s unfriendly. But, the way he takes his passengers safety so serious does rub people wrong sometimes, so sorry you did t like him.
