Our most popular tour! Watch a legendary Kona sunset from our spacious 50’ catamaran as you sail the Kona coast, followed by the adventure of a lifetime - snorkeling with the majestic manta rays! Upon arriving, receive an in-depth explanation of one of the most mysterious creatures in the ocean. Join your professional/certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, and hot cocoa included.

A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
Children under the age of 5 are not allowed in the water and MUST be accompanied by an adult on the vessel at all times
Guests are asked to check-in at our KONASTYLE retail outlet 45 MINUTES PRIOR to your scheduled departure time. We are located in the Kona Square Shopping Complex. Our address is 75 5669 Alii Drive, #1107, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
We offer discounted self parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. Parking charge is $13 for up to 5.5 hours. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you at check-in.
PLEASE NOTE that trip start times VARY throughout the year to accommodate for the time changes of the setting sun.
PLEASE NOTE that full-face snorkel masks are NOT allowed to be used by guests
Not recommended for travelers that are not strong swimmers. If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
Not recommended for travelers that are prone to seasickness / motion sickness
Guests weighing more than 300 lb (136 kg) are NOT allowed in the water as our water entry / exit staircase has a specific weight limit
Not recommended for travelers with a history of panic attacks

We went for the manta ray tour of 6:30 PM. It took around 30 minutes for the boat to get to the manta village and we stayed in the water for around 30 minutes. The first half was uneventful but we saw many manta rays from up close in the second half. This was phenomenal! The manta were so close they touched us. I highly recommend it!

Thanks for your patience! It can feel like an eternity when the manta rays don't visit us initially. Since they are completely wild, the crew might just be holding their breath a bit that at least one or two visit us to make it all worth your time! We're glad you loved it! AMAZING! Okay, I was skeptical because the photos looked kind of silly with people just floating around holding on to the board...but it was the highlight of my trip. The mantas get SO CLOSE. The staff were friendly, patient, and really knowledgeable. Appreciated all the manta stories and facts they shared while we were in the water. My friends and I all felt fine without motion sickness medicine, but could be good to have just in case. Bring a GoPro or waterproof camera because it's worth it being able to capture footage of the mantas!

Loved the crew - friendly and very helpful. They stress safety before, during, and at the end of the trip. I really enjoyed the trip. Several manta sightings - one circled toward me several times. It was an amazing experience.
