Our most popular tour! Watch a legendary Kona sunset from our spacious 50’ catamaran as you sail the Kona coast, followed by the adventure of a lifetime - snorkeling with the majestic manta rays! Upon arriving, receive an in-depth explanation of one of the most mysterious creatures in the ocean. Join your professional/certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, and hot cocoa included.

Guests may purchase beer, wine and cocktails from our full bar.

A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
Children under the age of 5 are not allowed in the water and MUST be accompanied by an adult on the vessel at all times
Guests are asked to check-in at our KONASTYLE retail outlet 45 MINUTES PRIOR to your scheduled departure time. We are located in the Kona Square Shopping Complex. Our address is 75 5669 Alii Drive, #1107, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
We offer discounted self parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. Parking charge is $13 for up to 5.5 hours. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you at check-in.
PLEASE NOTE that trip start times VARY throughout the year to accommodate for the time changes of the setting sun.
PLEASE NOTE that full-face snorkel masks are NOT allowed to be used by guests
Not recommended for travelers that are not strong swimmers. If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
Not recommended for travelers that are prone to seasickness / motion sickness
Guests weighing more than 300 lb (136 kg) are NOT allowed in the water as our water entry / exit staircase has a specific weight limit
Not recommended for travelers with a history of panic attacks

AMAZING TRIP! Like our captain said,”It is hard to come up with an adjective to describe snorkeling with the manta rays”. Truly a fantastic cruise/trip from start to finish. Shout out to the crew. Everyone of them were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about manta rays(“manta ray biologists”). Kona Styles has this Manta Ray Snorkeling Trip perfectly orchestrated. Seeing the mantas was so surreal and nothing like you would ever imagine. Thumbs up to Kona Styles. Thanks for the great adventure!!!

Absolutely amazing! We were lucky enough to have several mantas swim right in front of us. So close you could touch them (but we didnt). The crew was wonderful, too. Full of great info. Bonus, a beautiful sunset cruise. We've come to the Big Island for several years. We've talked about doing the Manta snorkel but never have. We didn't know what we were missing. If you don't do anything else, DO THIS!

Amazing trip! Very attentive and involved crew. Beautiful boat and best of all saw multiple Manta Rays . From when we got in the water for the next hour, ray after ray . Great trip
