Upon arriving, receive an in-depth explanation of one of the most mysterious creatures in the ocean. Join your professional/certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, and hot cocoa included.

A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
Children under the age of 5 are not allowed in the water and MUST be accompanied by an adult on the vessel at all times
Guests are asked to check-in at our KONASTYLE retail outlet 45 MINUTES PRIOR to your scheduled departure time. We are located in the Kona Square Shopping Complex. Our address is 75 5669 Alii Drive, #1107, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
We offer discounted self parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. Parking charge is $13 for up to 5.5 hours. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you at check-in.
PLEASE NOTE that trip start times VARY throughout the year to accommodate for the time changes of the setting sun.
PLEASE NOTE that full-face snorkel masks are NOT allowed to be used by guests
Not recommended for travelers that are not strong swimmers. If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
Not recommended for travelers that are prone to seasickness / motion sickness
Guests weighing more than 300 lb (136 kg) are NOT allowed in the water as our water entry / exit staircase has a specific weight limit
Not recommended for travelers with a history of panic attacks

i had a hard time breathing. the snorkling mask was covering my nose. i had to get back on the boat within the first 2 minutes. told the boat captain, just a plain mask should have been given out.

Aloha, Allen. We’re very sorry you had trouble with the mask and snorkel. Our team consciously and thoroughly reviews the mask and snorkel gear we provide with the whole tour group and is always available to offer extra snorkel instructions and answer questions for guests that ask for help. All snorkel masks (standard adult and youth, specialized full face and prescription) are specifically designed to cover the nose of the snorkeler so that the user can keep their head down in the water and still breathe via the snorkel. We’re very sorry if, after the group and individual gear instruction, there were still outstanding questions that went unanswered. We hope this helps clarify any confusion. The boat ride to and from Manta Land wasn’t too long and comfortable. The crew was great with lots of humor. We did see mantis! And it was amazing.
