Wind down and relax as our captain and crewmates teach you about our elegant schooner and share stories about the history of the lands, people, and waters of the Grand Traverse Bay area. Enjoy complimentary locally sourced food, wine, and cocktails while watching the sunset paint the sky. This is a 2.5-hour sail.

Check-in at our kiosk 30 min before departure. The 2nd Mate will do a brief welcome about 10 min before departure and then will guide all passengers to board Wind Dancer. We have a variety of beverage options including wine, cocktails, local spirits, soda and water. Food is served around 1 hour into the sail. We respectfully request that guests not bring additional alcoholic beverages. Free parking is available at the check-in kiosk, which is located at The Delamar Resort, 615 E. Front Street, Traverse City, MI. Depending on the weather, please bring rain gear/sweaters and non-skid footwear for boating. Tours will be rescheduled if necessary due to inclement weather.

Two thumbs up for this incredible experience. We joined the sunset sail earlier this week and we were treated to artisanal food sourced locally from farms around Traverse City. This isn't a party barge - the guest count was around 10 and we had plenty of room to ourselves. Captain Jason and his crew are professional mariners and they were friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. If you in Traverse City and looking for a unique experience, I would recommend giving Wind Dancer a try.

We had a magical evening on The Wind Dancer. From the start of our arrival and introductions with the crew and other guests, we knew we were going to enjoy our sunset cruise. Everything was absolutely perfect! The local sourced food was delicious and the weather and sunset were fantastic. We will definitely be back to Traverse City and most certainly book another cruise on The Wind Dancer.

WOW! What a wonderful 3 hour tour! A beautiful night, beautiful sunset, the crew was spot on very pleasant and social yet allowing us to enjoy our time, very knowledgeable and professional. The food was a perfect combination of some local tastes and was easy to enjoy in the box provided. Make it a point to check this boat out if your in the Traverse City Michigan area, you will not be disappointed.
