When it comes to Colorado whitewater, hardly anyone knows about the San Miguel River. Which is kind of a surprise! Given how much fun it is, on top of being in proximity to bougie and beloved Telluride.

The rafting section is gorgeously scenic, exciting for all experience levels, and pretty much a must if you want to spend the morning like a local. Its red sandstone canyon juxtaposed by flourishing pine forests make for a picturesque setting to recreate on this Rocky Mountain river.

Anyone who loves the outdoors will have an absolute hoot on this tour, whether it’s your first or hundredth time rafting. Just ask our guides, most— if not all!— will agree that the San Miguel is their favorite river to run.

What an incredible experience!!! The guides were so knowledgeable about the river and did a great job of navigating the rapids and obstacles. Rio was our guide and he was RAD! My husband and I had a blast. HIGHLY RECOMMEND rafting, especially with Mild to Wild! *paddle high five

This was by far one of the best adventures we have done as a family. The entire crew was amazing They were friendly, helpful, informative and a fun time to be with for the entire trip. Our guide, Nate was outstanding and did an amazing job handling the boat as well as giving thorough instructions prior to pushing off. The views are gorgeous and we have incredible photos and GoPro videos to last forever. equipment was in good shape and as a team, they took care of your needs and event took photos and videos of you on the river. This is a must if you are in the Telluride area.
