Alexander was a wonderful guide! We had a relatively small group with me me, my friend, and another traveler. We met up just past the Mexico border and took a bus a few blocks into downtown Tijuana. We did feel a little bit confused about where to look for the group, but we texted the number provided and Alexander was super responsive and found us right away! He made sure to check if we had any allergies, dietary restrictions, and if we drank before taking us to some great spots that had vegetarian options for me! The tequila tasting was great and we got some lovely jewelry from vendors in Mercado El Popo. It was Día de los Muertos which meant that some places were closed in observation of the holiday, but it was still beautiful to see all of the ofrendas and traditional decor around downtown. He made sure to stop at important cultural points and tourist hot spots, helped us take photos, acted as our translator, informed us of the history of Baja California, and made sure to leave us time to shop at the end of the tour. We felt completely safe and well cared for, and would gladly book a different tour next time we head down to San Diego or Mexico!

I took a solo trip to Tiajuana from San Diego. It was easy to arrive and get there via the Pronto down to San Ysidro. I felt safe and crossing over the border was easy to do. Leia, my tour guide was fabulous! We easily connected after I crossed over. She provided a lot of history and tailored the tour to my interests as well. We also took a stop for tequila tasting and tacos of course. Delicious! This tour is walking so make sure to bring your comfy tennis shoes! This tour is great value for cost as well.

Very nice tour. Liked both guides a lot, enjoyed their local insights and the small group was great. I felt safe and had a lot of fun. Would recommend it to others and do it again. I booked the tour for 37USD. Bring cash (USD) for tips and the drinks. For my taste, no need to have drinks right at the beginning of the tour which we also paid by ourself. But everything else (also tacos) was included in the price. At the end they brought us to some shops of their business partner to buy souveniers and tequila (tasting for free). I was the only person in the group who received a proper description how to cross the boarder to meet the guide on the other side. The others of the group would have been lost without me.
