Pre booked this for 5.20pm. Queues were very long. Staff friendly and some entertaining. Stunning views. Well worth a visit.

We did Top of Rock after recommendation and booked for a 3.30pm slot. We arrived initially early but were told to come back at exactly 3.30pm, which we did. It took us over an hour just to get processed and in the lobby. Once in the lobby we were then taken into a theatre that provided an overview of the Rockefeller building’s history, I enjoyed that, sadly many didn’t care and so chatted and fidgeted the whole time. Once out of the theatre we queued again! This time though it was for the elevator. Once in the elevator (20-30mins later) we were transported to the Top of the Rock and made it just in time for sunset 😊 This gave great photo opportunities. On one side we had Statue of Liberty in the distance and on the other a reasonably good view of Central Park. There’s a nice bar at the top too for those who have time and patience to hangout at the top. Glad we did it, but wouldn’t rush to do it again.
