In 2002, the final dam on the Baraboo River was removed, making it the longest free-flowing river in the nation to be restored to its pre-settlement condition. Baraboo River Canoe & Kayak Rentals offers scenic Wisconsin kayak and canoe trips along the Baraboo River Corridor, at the base of the Baraboo Bluff Range. Enjoy a self guided leisurely float through the beautiful countryside, or experience an exciting but enjoyable canoe trip through the rapids that flow right through the city of Baraboo!

Had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly and very helpful and informative about the route. 2 of us had experience paddling on lakes, but not rivers and one friend was brand new to kayaking. We got stuck on the rocks a little but were all successful and enjoyed ourselves.

Great friendly and helpful people! Trip was pretty and relaxing, enough current to just float if you don't want to paddle. Can't say enough about the wonderful people that run Baraboo River Canoe & Kayak Rentals!
