I really enjoyed touring the Garden District and Lafayette Cemetery no 1 with our guide, Sam. This tour was well constructed and Sam was very knowledgeable about this area. It was apparent that he really enjoyed giving this tour and teaching us about the homes and cemetery. Would highly recommend to a friend!

The Garden District is a true national treasure and our guide Sam was an amazing source of information from all things NOLA including, restaurants (Commanders for lunch), cheap travel (Streetcars), famous locals (with back stories), life lessons (take the tour to find out), and most especially the municipal cemetary! I couldn't imagine how this topic could possibly take an hour - boy was I impressed! WE recommended this tour to everyone we possibly could. WOrth every penny.

The sidewalks are messed up and can't be fixed because they are in an historical district. Almost twisted my foot 3 times. The guide was very informative. Would have liked to have seen inside of one, but...we understand. At the end we went to a coffee/tea shop and then headed to the Lafayette Cemetery. WEAR YOUR WALKIN' SNEAKERS!! Lots of walking!!
