Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Guests will then meet their personal guide and recieve the necessary equipment Including: life jacket, helmet and paddle.
After your guide double-checks to make sure all equipment is fitted properly, guests then hop on our bus for a short 10-minute ride to the launching point for your trip.

This crew takes having FUN very seriously... everyone on staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Erin our guide kept us on a high thrill course through the class III and IV rapids. Not sure if you can choose your guide ( I am sure they are all good)... but if you can I would definitely recommend asking for Erin. We had a mixed group on the raft and she made us feel comfortable and had us working as a team through the rapids. If you are planning to spend some time on the river check out Big Creek Expeditions.

This company did a remarkable job. I was scared to death and by the end of the trip was having a blast. The trip was seamless from booking online to changing out of our wet clothes. A must do if you are in the Smokies.

Our guide, Joan, made this adventure fun, entertaining, and exciting. The equipment was is great shape, well taken care of. The entire staff was inviting, helpful and excited. A fun trip for all ages.
