Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Guests will then meet their personal guide and recieve the necessary equipment Including: life jacket, helmet and paddle.
After your guide double-checks to make sure all equipment is fitted properly, guests then hop on our bus for a short 10-minute ride to the launching point for your trip.

Dan or Danokanda was such a fun guide; he made the trip 10x more fun, by keeping the energy up and pointing out the history of the river. We had absolutely so much fun rafting. I felt entirely safe and ready to raft after the staff gave us our instructions. I can’t say enough about our trip.

What a fun time! We had a group of 10 adults. Some had rafted before, others had not. This was the perfect blend for both experiences! Our guide was amazing. He was very knowledgeable of the river and the surrounding flora and fauna. Lots of laughs had by all. Big Creek Expeditions is hands down the best!

My wife and I took my 10 year old granddaughter on a vacation to Eastern Tennessee and wanted a fun day of adventure for her. This trip certainly delivered everything it advertises. Our guide, Steve, made the trip fun, safe, and adventurous. He made sure everyone had a good time and even made sure everyone got wet. I would definitely book this trip again if I’m ever in the area.
