Maine sunsets are best appreciated from the water aboard the romantic Appledore II! This tall ship is limited to 49 passengers for an intimate sailing experience. She is a modern windjammer with luxurious accommodations and plenty of seating. The wide decks allow you to walk around with ease and take in all of the gorgeous sunset views.

Sailing on the Appledore II was an absolute delight. Captain Pablo and his first mates, Andy and Mike, were experienced sailors, and Pablo had many interesting tales to tell. The ship is authentic in every way (with the addition of a motor) to how she was originally launched in 1800's. Drinks, both soft and alcohol, were served, the sun went down behind Camden town...Highly recommend!!

What a fabulous experience! The crew was so great. The sail was amazing! They showed us all how to raise and lower the sails, they shared interesting facts and stories, served amazing drinks! They encouraged people to help with the sail, especially a blind teenager on board. Her smile will be something I will never forget, how proud they made her feel! Amazing experience, well done an experience that created a terrific memory for me and my husband. Well worth every penny
