Dive Lanai’s famous caverns, lava shoots, swim throughs, and arches on Maui's most popular 2 Tank boat dive.

Ancient lava flows have created a stunning underwater landscape on the neighboring island of Lanai. We love the underwater topography of caverns, lava shoots, swim throughs, and arches and you will too. Your experienced captain will determine the days sites based on conditions but you can expect to dive Lanai’s famous Cathedrals along with other locations.

Our group sizes are small with 14 or less divers and you will receive special attention from your instructors who will guide you on 2 exceptional dives and answer all of your questions about the marine life.

Our custom built boat, Hoku is the fastest and most comfortable boat that crosses the channel. Dolphins and whales are frequent visitors and we always stop when they say hi.

Divers must be Certified (Open Water +)

We had a great experience with Capt Joe and Jeff on our 2 tank dive at Lana'i. They did a thorough pre-dive brief and gave clear instructions on underwater communication. We saw octopus, reef shark, tons of fish, eels, and a monk seal!! It was a great day of whale watching to and from the dive site as well.

This dive shop always provides a great experience. They are very professional, and they really know how to take care of divers. The two-tank dive to Lanai was wonderful. Captain Dom gave us a good ride over and back, and he made sure we saw a lot of whale activity. Dive master Jeff was fantastic - he is really good at spotting interesting things to show the divers. I would highly recommend Dive Maui!

We dove Sargent Major and First Cathedral off the coast of Lanai. Excellent staff exceeded my expectations. We saw whales and dolphins breaching on the ride from Maui. Once underwater dive master Joe showed us epic swim throughs and helped us navigate the entrance and exit of First Cathedral. He did a great job making sure beginner divers made it up safely while allowing the advanced divers to continue exploring till we ran out of air.
