Takes over an hour to get on the bus. Tons of people working to sell tickets, no one actually working to make sure you can use said tickets. Will not ever do this again

Hello, Thank you for sharing your feedback and we apologize greatly for your experience. During the holiday week, there was increased traffic which caused delays in our service. Although we added extra buses to our routes, there were still wait times to board the bus. We appreciate you letting us know in order to give us the chance to improve our service. The idea of a HOHO-bus is that you can actually hop on and off. There would need to be buses and available seats in them. Neither happened with Big Bus NY on our visit. There are two routes in NYC, red line for downtown and blue line for uptown. Red line is busier and there are more buses. The blue line is a hoax and we waited for a bus for an hour and turned out there were seats for only 4 people. There was a mother and crying child in the line and the crew managing the line were being rude to the mother. Also the bus driver shouted at us saying it’s not his fault there are so many tourists today. We were super disappointed with the blue line, and the fact that we spent more than one hour of our day standing waiting for a bus. The whole thing was badly organized and just too unreliable. We felt our money was cheated as there was just no smart way to get on the bus from our stop. Ended up taking a cab to Central Park. I would not recommend this for people traveling with kids.
