We have spent 2 days in NYC near Times Square. The hop on hop off bus is convenient to the area and the vendors are easily found with red jackets and hats. The vast majority are true ambassadors for the city. Marshall and Moussa are both a credit to the company and deserve all accolades. Marshall even used his personal gloves to wipe the seats of riders in front of us. ❤️ Thank you for the rides!

I would NEVER recommend Big Bus Tours to anyone. My children were so excited to get on the big bus and when the driver pulled up at the zoo stop, he told us we needed a PRINTED ticket despite the viator website AND the Big Bus Tours app stating that you can show your printed OR your e-ticket to get on. (Who even uses printed tickets in the year 2022??) Anyway, my kids and I were literally kicked off of the bus and the driver was being SO rude…. he even condescendingly told us he “couldn’t read English” when I tried to show him what the websites say about showing your e-tickets. So we complied and got off of the bus then looked for somewhere to print out our tickets. After walking many blocks, we printed the tickets and came BACK for the next bus which was supposed to run every hour according to the schedules. An hour and a half later, it still hadn’t showed up. We ended up using UBER to get to our final destination after that horrible experience. And my children and I were never able to see any of the sights we paid to see. It was a complete and utter disappointment.

We did several different types of bus tours of New York and this was by far the worst. The cold probably had a lot to do with it as it was absolutely freezing that day but unless you had headphones and plugged in there was absolutely no commentary and it was just a boring bus tour. It was included in our New York Passes so we didn't pay for it - thank goodness!

Hello, I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy your experience on our bus due to the cold weather. We try our best to protect our customers from the weather and elements with installing canopies on our buses, but unfortunately, New York winters can be tough! As for the commentary only playing through the headphones, New York has a noise ordinance that does not allow us to amplify sound from any speakers which is why we provide each guest with a pair of headphones so they can enjoy the commentary. We hope you give us another chance in the warmer seasons, we would love to welcome you back!
