This was a good way to start our five day trip. Day 1 was a great success we travelled the uptown route ending up alongside central park and getting off at Times Square. The guide was good and we saw lots. We upgraded to the premium two day which in hindsight was a mistake. 2nd day it was raining hideously all day. We thought we would be ok either upstairs under cover, it leaked , or downstairs inside. The windows downstairs were obscured glass so we couldn’t see a thing 🥴 the guides on 2nd day were just reeling off monotone fact after fact too quick to keep up and not very interesting. We make a habit of doing these tours around the world and to be honest have been on much better. It should be easy to make New York exciting with a movie set on each block but all the guides we had were clearly bored by it all. Luck of the draw I guess. Still worth doing but manage time well it is a slow way to hop on and off walking between stops might be better .

I want to share that I have used Big Bus in Europe already and it was great. I have had an even better experience with Jose as our guide here in NYC. He is very knowledgeable but took the extra step to give information to ensure that no one could take advantage of us. I cannot say enough. I will always use big bus where ever I visit.

Darius was guide and quite a character but a touch bouncy and spiky. I sensed he was a frustrated comic but I guess he's got to try and engage with the passengers to help even though some are ignorant. Big negative for me that you got to do downtown and uptown in one day. Good service though👍
