Absolutely disgusting. Do not go near them . Over sell over priced . Drivers are dangerous in way they drive. No customer comfort at all . Haggle down to the dollar over sell then tell you the ticket is expired . Tell ypu that the price day before quoted is not valid and was a lie . ?? Be careful they add more on and don't think they know what there doing. Over crowded buses . They do not do a night bus . Was quoted 120 dollars for a night bus for 2 people . I paid 54 dollars with another company . So beware they rip you off . Be warned . Be warned ⚠️

I think this company needs to rethink the audio portion of the tour. There is no direction, it’s mostly music, and while I don’t blame them for traffic they should be constantly talking about the ins and outs of the city. Also the vendors will haggle you even if you had already bought tickets. One would think they might be a little more appreciative.

Of the various bus tour companies in NYC, we took Big Bus as the reviews were better than some others. But on the day it was disappointing and we all wished we’d saved our money for something else. Grumpy drivers shouting orders at passengers (to “sit there!” or “don’t sit there!”, “get on” / “get off! Go there!!!”) over crowded and noisy buses, and importantly a terrible and empty commentary. I learned practically nothing of interest on this tour. The commentary is 90% hip hop music with occasional child-like pre recorded messages of little value. Maybe others had a better experience but this was the low point of our family trip for 4 days to NYC. I’d say it’s not worth the risk in case you get the same. ALSO: they drive you past some of the big sights, but you don’t get to see any of them. You need to get off the bus. Otherwise enjoy the view of the traffic. And good luck getting a seat on the next one, if it even stops for you (ours didn’t, leaving 10+ passengers stranded on a busy dock side 3 lane road).
