It’s perfect for first time visitors as it goes through all the landmarks that NYC has to offer. We availed the 24hr hop-on, hop-off plus an entry ticket to the Empire State Building and a ferry trip to Liberty Island. It was 100% worth the cost as it also came with several vouchers

I really wish I hadn’t done this. I enjoyed our trip to New York, but this was the low point. 1. Expensive for what it is. Using the subway would have been a better option in hindsight. 2. Not enough buses and not regular enough. We spent more time waiting for buses when we could have been sightseeing. 3. The buses were so busy that we rarely got to sit on the top deck. 4. The headphones didn’t always work. 5. On days we didn’t take the tour we were still hassled to buy tickets by the on-street vendors. I would give zero stars if I could.

I bought a bus tour for Big Bus through Viator for New York. I was sent an email one day before from Viator telling me that unfortunately due to the marathon race taking place on Saturday, they would have to cancel. When I tried to get a refund through Viator, there system made it impossible to reach them. The 24 hour window to request a refund passed and I was still unable to reach them. I should have done my homework. You go to the source. I regretted not buying from the bus touring company on the street. Lesson learned.
