This tour is not worth the money you pay. We took the New York downtown tour. The whole loop took about an hour. Then We hopped off at the broadway stop. It took us a few hours to finish a few places around broadway. There was no time left to hop on again and the red bus stops have long lines. So it was exhausting to wait in those lines. We felt it’s cheaper to just take a cab ride to the destinations around the city.

Hello, Thank you for your honest feedback. We are disappointed to hear you did not feel the tour was a great value to your trip due to unusually longer wait times. We understand each guest's time is valuable and we try to operate wit ha 15-20 minute frequency daily on our Downtown loop but do experience delays at times. If possible, can you please reach out to [email protected] with more information such as your booking details, date, time, and stop you tried to board at so we can look into this further?

We took a tour from this company 5 years ago and it was much better with live tour guides compared to the audio recordings they do now. In the past they had a tour guide and a driver. Now it is all one person and you really want a driver that is good. We took our tour on a Saturday and it was busy but they did a good job of making sure everyone that wanted on the top of the bus was able to sit there by having plenty of buses. However, our first driver didn’t give us any information about the city and landmarks and the audio tour was way behind where we were. We knew landmarks but if it were our first time in New York we would have missed a lot. Also we didn’t even know when we were at a couple of the stops because they were not announced. After hopping off for lunch in Chinatown, we boarded the bus Harry Valenciano was driving and it was so much better. At each stop he came up to the top of the bus and told us where we were and what we were going to see next.

We are disappointed to hear you did not enjoy the tour as much as you did when you visited 5 years ago. We have since updated our loops and tour commentary several times. Very disappointed. Long lines, very few buses resulting in long wait times. Very crowded. Stops extremely difficult to find. Some stops weren’t even marked. Waste of money. Learn and use subway.

Hello, We are very sorry to hear you did not enjoy your touring experience while in New York. During the summer season, we do experience an increase in volume and we try to prepare as best as possible by adding more buses to our schedule. Unfortunately, we do sometimes experience delays which may cause us to have longer wait times and apologize if this was the case during your stay. As for our bus stops, we do mark all of our bus stops in the city with a sign that says "Big Bus Tours." Unfortunately, we are unable to add additional signage as per the Department of Transportation. Due to this, we highly recommend downloading our app so you can see exactly where to find our bus stop. We hope this did not cause too much of an inconvenience during your trip and hope you still were able to enjoy your time in New York.
