During this approx 2 -hour snorkeling tour with a knowledgeable guide, watch these extraordinary creatures feed on plentiful plankton attracted by underwater lights. With wingspans that can reach more than 20 feet (6 meters) across, manta rays have no teeth or barb on the tail. The overall experience was very good. Check in was organized and easy. The crew was friendly and provided clear instruction. We saw about 6 manta rays and one came within inches of us. Truly unforgettable. This is why I give 4 stars, the tour in my opinion had too many people. You had guests that didn’t listen to instructions. Guests didn’t use their noodles and lay flat. They were kicking their legs and some were crashing into my daughter. The water was a bit choppy so it was a tad chaotic with everyone trying to hold on. We had a crew of 3 that were going around to make sure everything was ok but it seemed liked it was too much for 3 to handle. When we were swimming back to the boat, they said 3 people at a time. Me and my kids were swimming towards the boat and another guest just started sprint swimming to cut us off. I think it’s more manageable when you have smaller groups. Again, great experience and would recommend to anyone. Last thing, they took pics and videos and airdropped to our phones for free.

Thank you Bianca for your review. The guides try their best to direct customers but there are some that don't listen and I am sorry for that. As for the guides, you are correct and there was one that got ill and couldn't come in. Even though we can make it work, it is a bit tough on the guides, and wouldn't be fair to cancel groups off the boat.

Small group excursion I would recommend. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Or skipper (all 100 lbs wet of her) masterfully handled the boat in fairly rough seas and was very informative. We had a boisterous family group with us that diminished the experience as they were screaming and yelling as any aquatic life came near. But the staff got everyone in and out quickly to maximize our allotted time in the water. Several other charters all gather at the same spot which is both a positive ( more lights = more plankton = more manta) and a negative (too many bright lights below make it harder to see what’s swimming below and can miss draper swimmers). Overall great outfit I would recommend.

Awful experience, 16 ppl were waiting for our tour more than an hour. Nobody showed up. After calling operators, they said it was cancelled, not giving a reason why.

Aloha once again I apologize. I reached out to you personally since this review was a bit stretched. And reviews like this can really hurt a smaller operator. 6:30 pm was supposed to be departure and you called just before 6:45 pm. I wasn’t sure either why the captain and guide weren’t there either as that is not normal and had became a bit worried. I stated I would call you back while also taking calls from other customers just as confused. After I finally reached the captain who was out of service and found out they were stuck with the boat on the trailer and there was no way the boat was going to make it down to the harbor. I called you back apologizing for the inconvenience and I told you it was a mechanical issue on the boat ( which I thought the captain said. But again bad reception. Ended up being the trailer. If you would like me to send our call I can as all of our calls are recorded. I then offered the option of a trip the following evening on other Manta Boat or fully refunded. You choose to be fully refunded in which I processed immediately.
