*Our mission is to make your tour the highlight of your vacation! We will do everything we can to make that happen! Our captain is a local who has navigated these waters for over 40 years!

*Our tours are a Full 2 hours around Chincoteague and Assateague! We run all brand new boats and travel over 25 miles of coastline. Sunrise and Sunset tours available!

*Our tours allow you to have the best, up close and personal experience to see ponies and other wildlife such as eagles, ospreys, herons, egrets, pelicans, dolphin, and beautiful sunsets around Chincoteague and Assateague Islands.

*Each experience includes a tour of the island and cruise through small guts and waterways to get you up close to an abundance of wildlife and scenery.

*We look forward to sharing our Island with you!

Captain Mike did a great job and we saw a lot of ponies. The boat we were in was brand new and was really comfortable. Captain Mike was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of history about the island. It was a lot of fun hearing about the island from a local. Would definitely recommend Up The Bay Pony Tours and will be back in the summer to do it again.

What a wonderful tour!! Captain Mike was a great host -- he was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, fun to chat with, and did an amazing job of engaging my three kids in all the fun. We saw ponies, bald eagles, osprey and more. My kids will never forget the experience - we even saw a new foal just a few days old! The boat is beautiful, clean and very comfortable - Captain Mike goes out of his way to make sure you get the most of the tour! We learned so much, and had so much fun doing it! We will definitely be back for more tours with him!!

We went on a 2:30 tour with Mike. We got to see ponies at multiple locations. He was knowledgeable and told us all about the history of the island. Mike frequently asked us questions about what we wanted so he could modify the tour to our liking. Mike had blankets for us since the weather was a little chilly and binoculars to view some of the ponies that were further away. This tour was great and I would recommend it to anyone!
