Your Deluxe Manatee Swim Tour provides a unique opportunity to view Florida's Nature Coast. CRWS is a proud member of the Save the Manatee Club Guardian Guide Program - promoting passive observation and responsible eco tourism. Your tour will take you past a state Archaeological Park, a State Nature Preserve and to a National Wildlife Refuge. You may view up to 57 varieties of birds, river otters, deer, pigs dolphins, a variety of fish and turtles besides the opportunity to swim in the area of the gentle giants manatees.

We had a manatee swimming adventure on 3/16/23 with Lauren and Captain Robert. There were 7 people in our party. Captain Robert did an amazing job navigating and working with Lauren to show us Florida as well as to spot wildlife and the best manatee experience spots. Captain Robert was very knowledgeable about boating and even knew about a release of a manatee occurring that day. From the beginning Lauren was amazing. You could tell she has tremendous knowledge, but what made this memorable was the personalization and care. She took each child personally to the manatee and made them have an experience unlike any other. She then filmed the experience so the memories are lasting. She truly instills an appreciation for nature and helps each person to have an individual experience. The education gained certainly surpasses that of any other nature trip we have been on. I do not usually write reviews, but Lauren and Captain Robert were wonderful. We have been watching the video of our trip, we had a unique experience, but also learned. Thank you again Captain Robert and Lauren. A big thank you to Lauren for the individual time you gave to each of us in the water.

This is a phenomenal review and very much appreciated. Our guides, at Crystal River Watersports, try to personalize every experience, giving proper attention to individual needs whether young, old and no matter limitations, sizes or ethnicities. We love our guests and want this bucket list trip to have forever memories attached to it that are both fun and educational. wee truly believe the key to protection and preservation is in education and we strive to provide that to each guest in hopes they will pass along what they have learned to other generations.

Leah ( guide) is SO knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant! We learned so much about manatees- it was wonderful! Kevin ( skipper) is also knowledgeable and was able to navigate a very crowded river on day we went out. Leah & Kev are a great team!

Our guides truly are amazing...we love to brag on them, too! Each one goes above and beyond learning the basics to actually studying, attending conferences, volunteering for Florida Fish and Wildlife, and we often take staff on "field trips" to various aquariums and rehab centers to even further their education which they can share with guests. We believe in the importance of education for protection and preservation.
