Honestly, I was not that impressed with this tour. Nothing specifically was wrong but was very disappointed in the amount of lights. Our guide really talked it up about how many lights, and it was just not what we expected. There were lights but nothing like we expected. Maybe our expectations were too high.
The lights were fantastic, but not enough time was given in the neighborhoods. They gave a half hour at the lights, but 45minutes at an ice cream shop near the Brooklyn Bridge. Also the ride to Brooklyn was filled with mundane chatter. Would be much more festive with Christmas Carols playing as opposed to listening to a guide chit chatting.
Lovely to see how the americans celebrate Christmas. It was good to visit some nice areas outside of Manhattan with some stunning light displays. Having arrived home now mine seem rubbish in comparison. Also stopped under Brooklyn Bridge and had a fantastic view of the Manhattan Skyline unfortunately they had ran out of hot chocolate so could not try it.
