Explore the natural wonders of Molokini Crater, a volcanic islet 3 miles (4.8 km) off the coast of Maui, on this snorkeling tour from Maalaea. Surrounded by clear tropical waters, this extinct cone is home to many species of marine life, such as fish, sea urchins, sharks, manta rays, and coral. Molokini is a marine preserve, meaning nothing can be disturbed, keeping the island and underwater environment pristine. You'll also explore Turtle Town, and admire native birds. Two water slides, a glass bottom viewing room, and a "leap of faith" are also available if you don't want to snorkel or finish early. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, soda, and juice are included.

I’m only giving a five star based on the crew. The tour got cancelled due to weather. The crew invited us on board to feed us breakfast anyways and were very accommodating. Thank you.

We chose this tour because it has the biggest boat possible on Maui for a snorkel trip, so we would have less chance of getting seasick, and we felt fine the whole time! Success! The trip itself was also magical, even though the boat was packed with people. Snorkeling at Molokini was great - we even swam with an endangered Hawaiian Monk Seal! There were no turtles at Turtle Town the day we went, but we were blessed by a six minute show put on by a baby humpback and their mom, breaching and tail slapping like crazy. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable, but definitely get in line early for lunch as they may run out of certain options.
