So let me start by saying that the whole crew on the train is amazing. We did not expect to get such an entertaining show. We went on a Friday in October with family and we were not disappointed.
The Fiddle Player was so enthusiastic, talented & quite a comedian. Man, can he get down.
The Sheriff was hilarious too but also a hero. He ended up coming to our rescue as the local cowboys rode up alongside of us on their horses and robbed the train. Yes, it was part of the act but it was pretty cool.
And then there was Ramblin Rose playing the accordion. She was pure delight! She knew all of the wacky requests we had thrown at her.
I have to say though our PSA, Dennis, was a pretty special guy. First of all, he was working the whole train by himself because a worker was a no show. He was in good spirits and made the whole experience memorable for all of us. He was so informative and helpful plus all of the personal handouts he gives to his passengers is pretty neat. You can tell he has taken the time to make our experience as memorable as possible. I also wanted to thank Dennis' wife for my special bookmark.
Last but not least, along with the beautiful scenery was all of the different wildlife we saw that you could only see by train. The usual Cow, Deer and Horses but also some Turkey, a heard of Prong Horn running away from the train and a heard of Elk running up a hill. AMAZING!!!.
Thank you Rail Road Crew for making our family trip so special.
