Great way to take in some major city sites and celeb homes . Our tour guide was friendly and informative. Even my teens enjoyed!

We liked this tour overall, but it could be much better. There just has to be a better place that is closer to get pictures with the Hollywood sign in the background. We could barely see it in our pictures. Also, why not have a fifteen minute stop at the Chinese theater area? (5 min stop at Hollywood sign new area that is closer plus 10-15 min at Chinese theater area). The handprints of the stars are fun to see and so are the “actual stars”in pavement around this area. I think most people would subtract five random star homes from the tour to allow this to happen. I might also suggest a stop and walk down the main part of Rodeo drive. Less star homes and more variety, in my opinion. Again, decent tour but could improve!

Dear Mark H, Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I'm glad you appreciated the sites we included on our tour. It seems you might have been looking for a different tour than what we offer (ie an all day tour). Our tour is a professionally narrated 2-hour tour, not a"hop-on-hop-off" tour. With nearly 8,000 5-Star reviews, we feel confident that we have a great balance of attractions, historical sites, filming locations and celebrity homes included in the two hours. Your comments are actually very common questions that we have been asked by people who are booking our tour for years. So to answer them specifically": 1) The Walk of Fame is just a 5 minute walk from our office and as you mentioned, we drive down the Walk of Fame on the tour and describe the sights on it. However to do the "prime" 2 block area justice: visiting Graumans Chinese Theater with all its foot prints and hand prints; the Dolby Theater (home of the Oscars), the 600 most famous "stars" on the sidewalk, Disney's premier theater El Capitan is a one hour adventure on its own and an excellent addition to our tour if your so inclined. 2) The Hollywood sign "Overlook" Los Angeles' official viewing point for the sign gives an excellent view of not only the sign, the city of Los Angeles, and the Hollywood Bowl, sometimes the Pacific Ocean and is always a stop our tours. The "Overlook" is the closest location you can get by vehicle to the sign and the next closest option is to actually get to the sign on a 4 hour round trip hike. 3) Rodeo Drive is a great walk to see how the rich and famous live, or at least shop, but it is a 45 minute adventure to cover the 2 main blocks as there is no van parking for several blocks making it quite a trek. We travel to these sites on our tour but there is no option to either get closer or see these places with out adding well over two hours or with the Hollywood sign there is no option. Again, we appreciate your review and comments.

Bea was fabulous! Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in touring the Hollywood area.
