  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • Pull behind attachments are not allowed on the ebikes.
  • Child seat attachments are not allowed on the ebikes.
  • All riders must be 16 years of age or older
  • Pets may not accompany you on your ebike rental.
  • Start times at the Hull's Cove Visitor Center are exact.
  • Cruise ship passengers will need to arrange travel to Hulls Cove Visitor Center as we have no human transport vehicles. We recommend the Island Explorer (free) or Cadillac Mtn. Shuttle (taxi). PLEASE plan this in advance.
  • Ebike battery charges last 30 to 50 miles depending on the effort and body weight of the renter.
  • All ebikes are class 1 (pedaling required) consistent with park service rules
  • We will text you 24 hours before your rental to remind you of the location and start time.
  • All ebikes come with an insulated bag, lock, phone holder, helmet and map.
  • All participants need to be capable of riding a typical pedal bike.

Stunningly beautiful bike tour of the western section of Mount Desert Island! We packed a lunch and rode around picturesque lakes amidst the lovely fall foliage. Staff (Rebecca) at Island Time Ebike Rentals was exceptionally helpful! We hope that we can do this again soon!

Everything went as planned, bikes were great, scenery was as even better. Been on regular bikes a lot, the e-bikes allowed us to cover 34 miles in under the six hours we had them rented for.

The scenery was beautiful, bikes super fun. We just wish we had more time! Had to catch free shuttle back to village so had to stop. Highly recommend, bikes great.
