Pull behind attachments are not allowed on the ebikes.
Child seat attachments are not allowed on the ebikes.
All riders must be 16 years of age or older
Pets may not accompany you on your ebike rental.
Start times at the Hull's Cove Visitor Center are exact.
Cruise ship passengers will need to arrange travel to Hulls Cove Visitor Center as we have no human transport vehicles. We recommend the Island Explorer (free) or Cadillac Mtn. Shuttle (taxi). PLEASE plan this in advance.
Ebike battery charges last 30 to 50 miles depending on the effort and body weight of the renter.
All ebikes are class 1 (pedaling required) consistent with park service rules
We will text you 24 hours before your rental to remind you of the location and start time.
All ebikes come with an insulated bag, lock, phone holder, helmet and map.
All participants need to be capable of riding a typical pedal bike.

Really appreciated the bike instructors directions to ride the park in reverse & to take a longer route. It was absolutely perfect - encountering very few other bikers along our route. The first 14.5 miles took 2.5-3 hours - stopping many times along the way to enjoy the view. The last 10 miles took another hour, with an hour stop for lunch at Jordan Pond House. Highly recommend the electric bikes - we would have NEVER made it without them, and it provides the opportunity to unique views throughout the ride.

Biking in Acadia is spectacular and offers something for everyone. I would not use IslandTime again. We booked 2 days of biking using their e-bikes. Bikes, helmets were brought to park which is a plus. IslandTime gave me a Norco....we biked 31 miles ...doing all the challenging rides "All Around the Mountain, the Lake etc" The 50 pound bike was virtually useless. It made the riding so difficult especially up hills. When I called to complain I was told "this bike is barely better than walking"......"motor is severely underpowered" I am a 100 pound rider now with a 50 pound underpowered bike.....there is another bike that would have been so much better but that was never presented. I used a different company for day 2 and was so much happier......

What a wonderful way to see and explore Acadia National Park. Self paced, good comfortable bikes with saddle bags. We ate lunch at Jordan Pond grab and go. Rode by wildwood stables and enjoyed the trails without having to dread any hills. The e-bike assist helped so much.
