The 8 mile whitewater stretch through the Snake River Canyon takes you through mix of calm sections where you'll be able to take in the scenery and wildlife, and exciting rapids. On this smaller 8 man raft your paddling skills will be put to the test as your guide leads you into the big waves of Kahuna and Lunch Counter, so be prepared to paddle hard and have a blast getting soaked!
Guests 16 and over will be charged a $3 Bridger Teton National Forest User fee at check in.

  • During the call our office staff will review check in procedures of the day to help limit the time spent inside our office. This may include signing e-waivers for everyone and paying for any wetsuit rentals in advance.
  • You will be getting soaked on this trip. So wear items of clothes that are not made of cotton, synthetic clothes are best!

The rafts were a lot of fun. You catch some good waves and the scenery is beautiful. The guide was great and we had a lot of fun. The water this time of year was cool, but it was not freezing cold. Recommend!

This rafting trip was a BLAST! We did the Snake River 8 person rafting trip. We took our 7 year old son as well, and he LOVED it! Our guide was Miles. He was fun, informative and ensured that we were safe the whole time. I would HIGHLY recommend this adventure!

Vlad was the man! Great river rafting guiding skills and knowledge of the Snake River and it's wildlife. He shared his vast rafting experiences both locally and throughout the world. All the check-in employees were friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend Vlad and the Dave Hansen team.
