The 8 mile whitewater stretch through the Snake River Canyon takes you through mix of calm sections where you'll be able to take in the scenery and wildlife, and exciting rapids. On this smaller 8 man raft your paddling skills will be put to the test as your guide leads you into the big waves of Kahuna and Lunch Counter, so be prepared to paddle hard and have a blast getting soaked!
Guests 16 and over will be charged a $3 Bridger Teton National Forest User fee at check in.

  • During the call our office staff will review check in procedures of the day to help limit the time spent inside our office. This may include signing e-waivers for everyone and paying for any wetsuit rentals in advance.
  • You will be getting soaked on this trip. So wear items of clothes that are not made of cotton, synthetic clothes are best!

Would highly recommend Dave Hansen Whitewater Trip! Had a great time with guide and family who were on our raft. Excellent guide and bus driver there and back.

The rafting experience itself was excellent. I booked with the office at Alpine Valley RV resort where we stayed. There was definitely some confusion with them. We were told we would check in and be picked up at our campground for the trip. When we checked in, we were told we need to drive about 14 miles to the launch point. There were Dave Hansen buses and vans in our campground lot, but apparently, 2 people were not enough to be picked up. The raft trip itself with Zack was awesome. Just make sure of your pick-up location details before paying. It may be cheaper to book with another location with a 28 mile round trip.

What a fun trip! From the bus ride with Dorothy (LOVED her "dad jokes!"), to suiting up and then rafting with Ben (The Wolfman!), we had a fantastic time! We saw three bald eagles, enjoyed the amazing views and got drenched in the rapids! Couldn't have been a more fun morning for our crew!
