The 26 Glacier Cruise we did the day before in Whittier was much better than this: their boat was better, their service was better and the narration and the glaciers and wildlife were saw were better (though the sea lions we saw here were great!). Quite disappointed by this cruise. The boat was not as comfortable to begin with: the seating was cramped, the boat was cold, and the restrooms were only accessible from outside, which was really inconvenient on a cold and rainy day! There were only 3 restrooms that had to be shared between too many people (the 26 Glacier Cruise had 9 and they were inside the boat). The lunch was okay, and there was no complimentary tea/coffee/water on the boat. The Aialik glacier was not as good as the Harvard glacier that we visited on the 26 Glacier Cruise. And of course, we saw no whales. You can't blame them for there being no whales, but you can blame them for raising expectations with their advertising and pictures in their office! Sorry to compare everything with the other cruise, but that set the standard.

We saw several orcas, seals, eagles and other wildlife on the trip. Went in close to a glacier. Rained most of the day but the boat was spacious and plenty of room to go out on the deck to observe. The boat captain was very knowledgeable and the crew was attentive. Would certainly go out with the tour and crew again.

Once on board we were given our lunch. A chicken burrito with black beans and corn. A side of chips and salad with a drink (water or soda). We sat on the port side upstairs which I would recommend. Get there early or you will be sitting outside the entire time. Not room for everyone inside. We saw plenty of wildlife and the captain did a great job of narrating.
