The whole trip was amazing. It is hard to pick just one memorable experience from this trip. If I had to pick one, it would be seeing glaciers up close and watching the ice break off into the ocean.

We were lucky enough to have a gorgeous day for the 6 hour cruise through the Kenai Fjords. What an amazing day. Although we didn't see any whales (too late in the year), we saw plenty of puffins, otters, sea lions etc. The boat captain and crew were outstanding! Friendly, knowledgeable and they all did their best to give us the best experience ever. We really appreciated the captain asking people to stand aside once they'd had time to see the wildlife, so others could move in closer. And he moved the boat in and out of little areas, allowing us to really get up close to the wildlife and scenery. He almost took us INSIDE a really cool grotto cave, where sea lions where hanging out. My family is from the Anchorage area, and they'd recommended this trip to me, when I went up there on vacation. I'm so glad I did it. It's going to be a favorite memory for years to come. Thank you to the Voyager Orca (hoping that's the correct name of the boat!)!!
