PLEASE NOTE that visibility of the northern lights (aurora) is not guaranteed. It is a natural phenomenon we have no control over and no refunds will be given if the aurora cannot be seen.

The road to Murphy Dome is steep and if it is not plowed or is too icy and dangerous we will take customers to an alternative location that provides the same opportunity to see the aurora.

Unfortunately, the skys were overcast and did not allow viewing of the Northern Lights. However, our guide, Jodie, was interesting to listen to because she had a lot of history with the Fairbanks area. She helped past the time and really watched for a possible clearing as late as she possible could to give the best chance to see the Lights. Can't control the weather.

We are happy you had our 5-star guide Jodi, but unfortunately, we cannot control the weather. Our guides do their best to give our customers the best experience possible despite the conditions, as Fairbanks weather is unpredictable, and it is never guaranteed that we will be able to see the lights.

Our tour guide, Gina, was great! The weather did not cooperate and we only saw clouds and rain, but Gina was super friendly and kind and went out of her way to make sure the whole group had a fun experience. You can never count on what the weather will do so it's great to know you can trust your guide to make your experience fun and memorable.
