Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Seating goes according to weight and balance. Weight maximum is 250 pounds per person. Passengers are weighed at our facility and passengers weighing over the weight limit are required to purchase an additional seat or will forfeit their flight.
Helicopter seats 6 passengers and 1 pilot. All tours are shared with other passengers. All 6 seats must be purchased for a private tour. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative time or date.
Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date.
Passengers must arrive 1 hour prior to scheduled flight time with Identification. It is strongly advised to arrive prior to check in time to avoid being charged late fee *** ***LATE FEE PRICES*** Passengers failing to arrive 45 minutes prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $50.00 per person late fee. Passengers arriving 30 minutes or less prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $100.00 per person late fee.
New York Helicopter has the right to cancel, change or delay any flight any time for any reason, which includes weather conditions, Temporary Flight Restrictions implemented by the FAA, minimum number of passengers not met for tour, helicopter maintenance and all other circumstances outside of our control.
$50.00 heliport/fuel fee per person (must be paid on site on travel date)
$50.00 heliport/fuel fee for children under the age of 2 (must be paid on site on travel date)

The helicopter experience was excellent. The staff very friendly and informative, however we were on a cruise and we were docked in New York. Getting to Kearney was a nightmare. When the helicopter ride was over, we were driven to a Bistro in the middle of an industrial complex. No taxis , no bus. My husband and my self are well into our 70s. And had no clue how we could get back to New York. We were lucky the young couple who flew in the same helicopter helped us and we shared an Uber with them back to Time Square. Maybe some help with directions etc. or at least drop us back near a train station, bus stop, or taxi rank. But it did not affect our helicopter experience.

Thank you for choosing New York Helicopter Tours, you could've asked the office they have a car service number. Most passengers call Uber.

Bought tickets for 4:00 ride, called to say be here by 3:15, arrived at 3:20 and they charged an extra $50 person = $200 - then they wanted to leave early, before 4:00 Then charged a $180 heliport fee - why would that not be in ticket price? Ruined a positive experience from the start and of course policy says you can’t cancel. Very poor customer experience!!!!!

You just answered your post, YOU were LATE and got charged $50.00 per person which is for 4 people and you also had to pay the heliport fee per person which equaled to $180.00. Customers need to take RESPONSIBILITY when they are late or don't follow directions, office staff are doing their job.

The organizer's confirmation contains incorrect information about the car lettering at the meeting point. The meeting point is at a long building in an industrial area. As a result, I was accompanied at the meeting point and looked for a car described in the booking confirmation, but found another car with great difficulty. The organizer sets out to make the customers pay a late fee ($100 for 2 people) for an alleged 6 minutes due to false information, although a phone call was made at the meeting point on time, but in the end the car was far away and in a different color difficult to find had to. The driver sat in the air-conditioned car and was disinterested in the pick-up despite the fact that there was no one waiting in the parking lot in front of the building except for me and the escort. The "boss" threatened to cancel the flight if the penalty fee of $50 per person ($100 for 2 people) could not be paid. Very militant action. The helicopter flight itself was great. Simply because of the customer unfriendliness and dying of goodwill despite the display of the different information about the pick-up car at the meeting point, which was not clearly described. When driving to the meeting point, you have to allow at least 2 hours more from New York than the calculated arrival on Google. Better to book directly in New York. There you arrive directly at the airport and not at the remote industrial area with dubious business practices at a not exactly determined meeting point and penalties despite punctuality and 7 minutes reserve.

There is nothing incorrect on the directions listed on your booking, we have many tourists that have NO PROBLEM getting to us. What you have to say that you were late and got charged a late fee.
