Sea kayaking requires a moderate level of physical activity. It is not recommended for guests with back problems, limited upper body strength or anyone who is prone to seasickness. In addition to paddling a kayak, guests need to be able to climb short sets of stairs; walk to the departure point; climb on and off the office boat; ascend and descend a short ladder; and sit on the dock or loading platform to get in and out of kayaks.

My husband and I went kayaking around Eagle Island. We saw sea lions, starfish and eagles. We even saw an adolescent eagle flapping his wings. Gavin led our small group expertly. He even towed a couple back to base after they became fatigued. He was a wealth of knowledge and fun as well. We would definitely do this again.

Do it!!! My dad and I had so much fun. It’s a beautiful trip and the guides are so friendly and helpful. Definitely check out their Electric Bike and Rain Forest Hike, and Alaska Marine Fast Boat Adventure, as well. Can’t pick a favorite 🤗
