I would never book with Viator again and will actively tell and tell others not to book with Viator. I booked a reservation through Viator and received confirmation information for my booking. I received a call from Carmel Car Service notifying me that Kona Taxi Cab would be picking me up. When I got into the Kona taxi cab, they alerted me they had not been paid for the trip. And yet my credit card had been charged. I was required to pay the Kona taxi cab directly — paying for my travel twice and now having to deal with the headache of canceling the payment to Viator with my credit card. The Viator cost was also two times as much as the Kona taxi cab if I paid directly. Viator is a total ripoff.

The driver wasn’t there as I was told. I called tried to leave messages. I had to pay for a taxi into town. At 12:30, when I was already in Kona I got a txt saying the driver was at the airport. I will never use Viator again.

Cancelled on me and left us to find transportation just before we arrived. Taxi was only $60 fyi but had to wait to get one
