We absolutely loved this activity, it was one of the highlights of our Sedona trip. Our guides Wes and Mauricio were awesome. Wes was funny and had great stories and context to share about what we were seeing and Mauricio made sure we were able to see everything in focus on our telescopes. I learned so much during our time with our guides, my husband and I are even thinking of purchasing our own started telescope. We can’t wait to come back in the summer when Saturn is visible! Totally worth the money, we have done a lot of traveling and a lot of different activities and this one was one of the most memorable and unique.

Cliff and Don seem to be the two leaders of this tour outfit. They run a tight ship. I felt like I had enlisted in their “star gazing army”. Lots of “dont’s, not allowed, cancellation with no refund” verbiage in their emails & phone calls leading up to the tour. In other words they don’t appreciate the customers as much as you would hope for an approx $120/person 80 minute tour. Telescopes are great, the guide was interesting and Claudette was very helpful on operating the telescope. So if you can see past the authoritative approach they use before the tour, don’t mind spending a little more then you think it is worth. It is a great way to kill 80 minutes, use and operate the best telescope you may ever see and learn some fun facts about astronomy.

This tour is really amazing. You will see stars nebula and galaxies in a way you wouldn’t see with your backyard telescope. Plus the guides are very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. This was my son’s favorite experience of our vacation. Totally worth it and would go again.
