The tour was the perfect introduction to Sequoia National Forest. We saw many highlights. Alysia, our expert guide is a former park ranger, and she had many incredible insights, interesting animal facts, funny and awe-inspiring stories of the wilderness to share. This was a family tour by van and suited our party of 6 (3 adults, 3 kids well). On our trip, it was extremely cold, so we were ok with the warm of the car with shorter excursions to explore the outdoors. If you are more into trekking, it would be better to make that clear up front.

Great tour! Small group size lets the guide customize the tour to the particpants' needs. Tour guides are locals, some are ex-park employees with SO MUCH information about the park and its history. We had a fabulous time.

Adding to the the accolades for this tour. Our guide, Alysia, was a former Park Ranger and is SO knowledgeable about the forest, trees, animal habits...everything. She didn't rush us, and in fact our tour went longer. She knows all the perfect places for pictures and is an expert at taking the best shots using our phone. With decades of tours under our belt, this was one of the very best.
