If you are new to or have never snorkeled before this is the ideal choice! Particularly good for families with younger children or swimmers who aren’t certain if they are “seaworthy” enough for one of our longer trips.

This trip is much slower-paced and affords guests time to become more familiar and comfortable with the exciting and beautiful sport of snorkeling. Our crew will be happy to help you adjust your mask, fins, and snorkel and help you become comfortable viewing the tropical fish while using a flotation assistance device we call a “noodle”. You'll even watch for dolphins and whales along the way!

We offer several different times slots to fit your schedule. The times shown indicate the check in time. Tour duration includes time to checkin and receive gear. Snorkel participants must be confortable swimming.

Our vessels are RHIBS (zodiac style boats; seating is on a pontoon).

The deluxe package is worth the extra money. Both snorkel sites are worth seeing, and the tour of other side was an excellent bonus.

Our captain was great! He even stopped so we can see the dolphins on our way to the Captain cook monument where we snorkel.

Sadly the coral reef is getting ruined, likely by humans in this "over snorkeled" area. too many people. The reef is dying. The boat ride out was not for the weak or faint of heart. very choppy waters which I understand is not their fault. But should be advertised, no true seating is available. The Cave stop was perfunctory at best

Aloha Mary, We are sorry you didn’t enjoy your snorkeling trip. Kealakekua bay is considered by most to be one of the best snorkeling reefs in all of Hawaii. Hawaii only has hard corals, and they are naturally pale in color. We do advertise that the seating is on an inflatable pontoon and we have pictures on our website of our boats sorry that you missed that. Safe Travels.
