Experience the Sonoma wine region in a unique way – on a San Francisco-style trolley, for an open-air ride through rustic, sun-kissed Sonoma Valley. Stop at 3 different wineries to sip and swirl fine Northern California varietals. This open-air trolley will let you experience the picturesque vineyards like no other tour. On this tour, your friendly and knowledgeable guide will take you to three wineries for tastings. You will visit Sonoma's top historic landmarks and enjoy lunch during one of the scenic stops. The tour starts at 10:00 and and ends around 4:30.

We took the Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley and it was quite enjoyable. We visited Ravens Wood , Bueno Vista , Imagery and Mayo wineries. Our tour guide, Jay , was informative provided water and was flexible. The tour provided food from the girl and the fig right from downtown Sonoma and it was great! The wineries were informative and interesting. I would recommend this tour.

My husband and I enjoyed seeing four different wineries in a day without the hassle of driving. Taking the trolley made it more of an adventure than traveling by car. Paul, our driver, gave some historical perspective, and was fun to hang out with for the day. Also, we met interesting people in our group, had some great wine tours, and sample some superb wines. Would definitely do it again!

This is a great activity to take in if you want to explore wineries in Sonoma! Our tour guide picked us up at our hotel ( Best Western Sonoma Valley Inn) in a cute street car and we met up with several other guests at the town plaza. From there our tour guide gave us a brief history of Sonoma and took us on a brief walking tour of a few historical sites near the town plaza. After this we went to our first winery where the sample fee was included. Then we visited 3 more wineries where we had to pay a fee between 15$-25$ US. At two of the 3 wineries you could opt of sampling, but at one of them it was expected that you take part in the tasting and tour. We were a little disappointed that we weren't offered the opportunity to share our samples, given that the samples can be quite sizable and if you partake in all of the tasting you will be roughly sampling ~ 22 different wines. Other than that everything about the tour was fantastic and the lunch that was provided tasted great and was healthy!
