Alongside a costumed guide, you visit cemeteries, the ground of the Old Fort, and other haunted locations to discover the little-known legends that surround the romantic venue. This small-group tour is limited in order to maintain an atmosphere suitable for the ghost walk.

  • A Ghostly Encounter’s Storm Policy (as follows)
  • 1. A Ghostly Encounter tours operate rain or shine. Florida weather changes rapidly and is unpredictable, and we monitor our weather prior to all tours.
  • 2. If lighting is present in the area: we will delay the start of the tour for 20 minutes to give the storm time to pass, then proceed as normal.
  • 3. If lightening remains present in the area, management may decide to reschedule the tour. Guests will be moved to the following evening’s tours or to the nearest date convenient with the group.
  • 4. If rescheduling is not convenient, each guest will be provided a voucher for a future A Ghostly Encounter tour, subject to availability. For offer to be valid, guest must present the voucher directly to our office staff upon returning to St. Augustine or speak directly with the office staff to reschedule (not through a third-party booking site). Please remember to bring your voucher with you. Lost or forgotten vouchers will not be honored; however, vouchers do not expire.

Hippie (Real name John I believe) did a great job. He really knew his stuff, had a passion for it, and made you feel the emotion some of the people had gone through. He also did a great job making sure everyone respected everyone else in the group (asked to turn flash off when taking pics, made sure everyone could hear him, etc). 5/5 would recommend

Our tour was led by Hippie, who did a fantastic job. He made the tour fun, entertaining, while also telling alot of the history of St Augustine, a lot of which I never knew before. I'm not as into ghost hunting /Paranormal investigations as my sister he who was on the tour with me, but I really enjoyed the historical side of the tour while we walked around the beautiful old city. The most interesting was the walking around the base of the outer Fort Wall which you don't get to touring the Fort. I definitely recommend taking this tour if your a history buff, into ghost hunting or just want a great and entertaining way to see St Augustine and its beautiful lights.

Great tour and our tour guide, Hippie, and our guide was very knowledgeable, enjoyable, and entertaining. He had done his homework and travels all over the world during ghost tours. Clearly someone who knows his business, and made it very personal. Clearly, an amazing story to tell about the history of the oldest city in the US. history. be sure and check it out and ask for h Hippie!
