We did the Strange True Tour with Jeffrey when we were in NOLA recently. No one else signed up for the tour so we ended up having a private walking tour. Jeffery has really researched and knows the history of New Orleans and takes pride in getting the details right. He is a good story teller and was engaging throughout. We took our 16 year old niece with us and she also enjoyed the tour.

I have taken several walking tours with Strange True Tours and thoroughly enjoyed each one. My latest tour was one of the bicycle tours, 8/29/13. I must say I was a bit nervous about it as I hadn't been on a bicycle in 20+ years (and never in a city), I am not "in shape", and it was HOT outside. Jeffrey explained hand signals he would be using along the ride to keep us safe as well as went at a reasonable pace that was not tiring. I learned a lot, despite my previous experiences with him and this company and saw all new places. I found that riding a bike in that heat is the ONLY way to travel, way more comfortable than walking. He knew every spot of shade along the way making for nice stops to take in the sights and hear the stories. Thank you for yet another wonderful tour!

Of course, I was in interested in the Strange True Tour due to its content. And the several great reviews helped too! Met Jeffrey outside Antoine's Annex on Tuesday night, and he said he'd wait a few minutes for any walk-ups. No one else showed up by 7, so we ended up getting a private tour! That's pretty awesome. Jeffrey was very personable, witty, and informative. Great at relaying the gritty history of the French Quarter. My husband and I loved it. We also thought it was awesome that we were enjoying our adult beverages while sitting on the steps of the Supreme Court. Yeah...in what other city could you get away with that?? And our beverages of choice were The Jester and a Huge [--] Beer...not subtle at ALL, haha!! Jeffrey also doesn't take any [--] from the musicians across the street from where the tour ends (at Royal Orleans). They sounded good, but my first priority was hearing the tour, so I appreciated that. We definitely see New Orleans in a different light after our tour...really not a "romantic" history! But very intriguing!
