My husband, teenage son, and I really enjoyed Jeffrey's Strange True Tour. There were 4 young adults and our family of 3 on the tour. The tour was a great way to engage our 15 year old son. Jeffrey let us know that this was a PG 13 tour with salty language and stories so we were prepared. Our son LOVED the tour and Jeffrey. Jeffrey looks and acts the part of a Southern story teller a la General Pickett. A fun, low key way to get a taste of New Orleans French Quarter history.

Did this tour with friends on our recent vacation in New Orleans based on the Trip Advisor rating/reviews. Once again, we were not disappointed. The tour was excellent. Jefferey has a lot of experience doing tours in New Orleans and is a master storyteller. His stories are all documented and true, unlike many of the other tours that tell you "urban legends" of New Orleans. Jefferey even pointed out some of the "myth" stories that we heard on other tours when we asked him. But the funny thing was, Jeff's "strange true" stories of New Orleans were more interesting than the fictional stories we heard on other tours! He was very knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have - he's not just reciting off some tour company script. Book the 6:00pm Strange True tour, and leave the kids behind as this is definitely a PG-13/R tour. We have done many of the tours in NOLA, and this was by far the best. Highly recommended.

Upon first visiting New Orleans in October 2011 we wanted to take an interesting tour of the city and of St Louis cemetary #1. I read about other tour companies and to be honest, they all seemed either overly theatrical or just a little cheesy for my taste. Strange True Tours offers tours with smaller groups and TRUE stories. We now have taken the cemetary tour twice and the the Strange True Stories once. All very memorable and enjoyable experience. Would take again in the future. Jeffery is awesome. He was a breath of fresh air and very knowledgable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
